1973-1979 CIVIC WILL A d16Z6 ....
Will the D16Z6 fit at all in a first gen civic? I have a spare D16z6 lying around, everything needed for a swap, but I'm not sure what is all required in a swap in the first gen civic.
I'm hoping the motors are roughly the same weight. a 1500lb car with a d16z6 would be fun to drive... 50hp originally, 127 new...
it's just an idea... anyone know of anyone who's done this?

http://www.civic1200.com i believe a guy there named Justin swapped an 88+ ZC into his car. same deal with mounts atleast.
it can be done, but it takes a lot of fabrication.

You should find this useful http://1stgencivic.org/1stgene...s.htm
and yes it is very possible, some say one of the easiest swaps on this civic
