Default window sensor replacement

car was stolen and recovered this morning, but now i have two front broken windows. i have yet to see the car due to it being impounded as evidence.
had a viper alarm installed with sensors all around, my question is once i replace the windows, how do i replace the sensors? or do i even have to? being new to car security, i am unaware of their prior location to begin with.

Glass breakage sensor is nothing more than a microphone tuned to the specific frequencies of glass breaking.

Provided the microphone wasn't damaged, you should not have to replace it.

Ditto the above.^^^

My question would be, how did they steal the car, did you not arm the alarm? 94

car is home safe home, the thief left behind his cell phone so i know his name and all his buddys names... by the stickers on it and screen background he must had really had a love or shall i say obsession for hondas.
anyway, im still wondering how he managed to bypass the starter kill and pry off the removable steering wheel hub lock, nonetheless drive it all the way to new york city from here with vice grips.
and by the way, the door sensors still work fine

Starter disable is not "active" when alarm is in valet mode. 94

Turn the phone into the police and press charges.

Door sensors are factory pin switches built into you door frame. Your alarm is tapped into the wires running from those sensors to your dome light.

Glass break sensor is not mounted on or in your glass, but at a remote location.

+1 for Lojack. People here will tell you that it's completely useless. It's not perfect, but I have heard of many recoveries because of it. It saved your ***. Good choice on having multiple layers of security.
