You really need to let us know if they are w6's or not and also what ohm load they are. That info is imparative as to what amp you should use.

 

Get a JL amp just to match with the subs

 

i have a performance technique....1200 watt amp....it's not bad for only $140. it powered 2 of my 12" subs....i'm sure if u paid a lil more for a 4 channel it would be fine. it all depends on if ur on a tight budget....u could always ask a local car/audio store person too.

 

get brand name ****... wtf is perfromance watever.. go with jl amp or kicker kx1200.1 if ur running a 1 ohm load i suggest that one.

 

performance technique is not such a bad name i've heard/seen a few PT setups and they sound pretty good but for the amp i would go with the JBL 1200.1 best bang for buck!

 

what version W6 is it? memphis amps or MMATS amps own.

 

i know what you should run...A JL 1000/1...And what a coincidence, I have one! For real though, I love JL amps. Look at running 2 500/1's!

Performance Technique isn't bad....it's prolly not the top-of-the-line tho....if u want something that works...it's all rite. i liked it cuz it also came w/ the new control where u can control the amp from the front of the car.

 

Alright...sorry I took so long.. the speakers are JL 10" W1-8.. which I guess are less than W6's.. Just got rid of the box, what kinda box do you guys suggest? max watt for these speakers is 125... so I should get a 500 watt amp? I currently have a dei 2504.. 50x4, 80x4

Just like everthing else, you get what you pay for. The JL amps are great because of the fact that they run the power from 11-14.5V, not just 14.4 like most amps. IMO I'd go with the JL

 

Go JL and if you dont mind used, they can be found for 200 - 250, which I did and it works fine.
