viper 790 responder problem: remote not functioning
Hello everyone. I got this system 2 months ago. About a month ago, the remote just wouldnt transmit anything. I got the remote rekeyed and it worked perfectly again. Just now, the remote stopped responding again. The problem is the alarm is activated. I can open the doors with the key, but then the alarm will go off. I guess I can disconnect the battery to stop the siren, but will I be able to start my car after i reconnect the battery? I dont know what to do. any help would be appreciated.

Do you have a valet switch? you should be able to disarm the alarm by pressing the switch a certain amount of times.

great idea. I dont' think he has one though, at least I don't remember seeing one when I was in his car.
