Default unlock and lock function does not work.

I just installed my alarm and everything works except lock and unlock function.

I used Green/White for lock and Green/Red for unlock and connected directly to the wires from alarm main unit.
and this is where i splice the wires.(circled with blue pen)

are these right wires and right location to connect?

I'd start by looking at those scotch locks.

try some solder and tape.

they're probably the wrong wires, did you use a test light to see if they got power when you locked/unlocked the door?

well, a test light checks for 12v power, so you'd need one of those, or even a multimeter, which also has the possibilities, but for lock/unlock you would strip the wire you think it lock back, touch the meter to it and lock the doors, if it lights of up shows 12v power, then you have the correct wire, same for the unlock

First of all, what kind of car do you have (year annd model)? Second, what kind of alarm is it?

A few things could be going on.....(1) you're tapped into the wrong wires, (2) your alarm is setup for positive trigger door locks (Hondas are negative trigger), (3) you might need relays-depends on your alarm, (4) the alarm could be defective.

BTW......please get rid of those scotch-loks.
