Get a friend who knows what he is doing, just knowing + - won't stop you from connecting your battery in the wrong order and frying your amp!!! You need to know about impedences, Voltage, guage, fuses, Grounds, and the order to do all those. I'm not saying you can't do it, but it is harder than you would think, find someone who knows what they are doing and do it with them the first time.
I thought I knew what I was doing and then I actually installed one with someone who knew what they were doing and was amazed.

It's not that difficult, it would be best to install it all and get someone to look at it before turning it on.
We need to know how many voice coils and the ohmage your sub has, where you want to mount the amp and whether the crossover is electronic or passive.

passive crossover...amps to be mounted in the rear of accord seats on the panel...
I kinda do know a little i have played around before and have burnt up one amp and radio before...lol
but i was wondering if there was any basic diagram...something like...
-run power (4 gauge) wire from battery to power amp
-run rc cables from radio to amp
-connect speaker sub wires to power amp
---etc etc
just to get a basic run through kinda thing...
thx

Power wire from battery to a distribution block to split to your two amps. The power wire must have a fuse or circuitbreaker within 25cm's from the battery. The distribution block will most likely have fuses built in, mount it in the boot near the amps. Don't put the fuse in till you've double checked all wiring.
Ground wires as short as possible and of the same or bigger size as the power wire, the power supply is only as good as it's weakest point. Remember to sand off all the paint from the grounding points.
Run the remote turn on wire from head unit to amp to the next amp, your head unit should be able to run two easily. 16 guage wire or bigger.
Speaker wires are simple enough, make sure you match the polarity of your speakers so they are in phase. I'm not sure if you will be running the amps in bridged mode or how many channels they are, do you know how to bridge? Make sure you connect the tweeters and mids to the right terminals of the crossovers.
Run the RCA cables from head unit to amp, if you don't have enough outputs you can use splitters. Try to run RCA and speaker wires away from power and ground wires and electric motors like the fuel pump. I use a lot of that black plastic shrouding.
try http://www.canze.org.nz/bcae for all you need to know about audio, it has some diagrams too.
