Default Toggle switch amp voltage?

hi, i just wanted to know what amperage and voltage should the fuel pump kill switch be?? specs?? i am guessing 12 volt dc, but i c only 20, 25 and 30 amp at radio shack, TIA

The main fuse for the fuel pump is probably 15A - 20A but it also powers other things, but if you install the switch on the "trigger" line from the "ECM/ECU" it is a low current neg. (-) and a 1A switch should be more then big enough. 94
