Icon2 System in a CR-Z

I am wanting to install a couple of amps and 2 12's in my 2011 CR-Z, that I had in my 08 Fit. Since it is a hybrid I don't know if it is a good idea to do? If it may cause any problems? Will it be too much power considering the hybrid battery?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank You!

Kyle

Runs off the engine battery so I'd say go for it.

Does your crz have a aftermarket head unit? Does it have a oem sub? I have done a few systems at our dealership on new Honda's, they are not very easy to do from my experience.

So it wouldnt be that hard varing how experienced you are... So first off if you have a fatory radio you would need a LOC (Line Out Converter) basically your fatory radio doesnt have any rca outputs for a LOC uses you speaker wires and converters that to rca or the other option would be to switch out the radio to a aftermarket HU... from there it would depend on how big of a amp your trying to use... and as previously stated the amp will run off you battery but if you try throwing a 1000 rms mono amp on there the altternator might not be powerfull enough to keep the battery charged and will run into dimming lights too... but other than that its the matter of run a power wire thro the firewall... and running the wires from you HU to the Amp and a good Ground...
