Subwoofer Help needed.
I have a 2002 Accord SE, my radio is a Alpine CDE-HD149BT and I changed the rear speakers to Kicker KS69's the fronts are stock. The unit sounds ok but its lacking bottom end, I was thinking of adding a subwoofer. I'm looking for something simple to install that sounds good. I'm not a kid, my main music is rock and roll (Beatles, Eagles, Pink Floyd) any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

So what is your question?
Are you asking for sub suggestions?
If so whats budget
Does ur stereo have 3 sets of rca (aka 6 total; 3red, 3 white)? or two? or even 1 set?
Are you gonna be installing it or do you need a installer?
need more info and some questions to help

Yes I'm asking for suggestions. If its easy enough I'll install it my self, otherwise I'll go some where to have it done. I can put in a radio so I'm sure I can handle the job.
The unit has three sets of RCA's. Budget I'd like to keep it in the $300 area.

Buy a used "old skool" amp for under $125. You can find them all day long on eBay. As for sub(s), I would recommend Infinity 8". Last month, I installed one in my daughter's Integra and it sounds amazing. Make the box according to it's suggested specs and you'll be happy.
$125 amp
$55 sub
$35 MDF
$10 carpet (Jo Ann's Fabric)
$8 3M spray adhesive

As far as installation goes, just Google and read up on it..... it's pretty simple even for a 1st timer. Don't waste your money paying someone to install it for you, plus it's more rewarding when you do it yourself.
I would recommend shopping for something in the 300-500 watt range. I have found that range provides PLENTY of bass/low end for the average listener. 500 watts of clean power to the right sub in a ported box will be enough to shake your rear view mirror.
I would stay away from the "all in one" products like Infinity Basslink for your setup. You will lose a lot of audio being that you have a back seat to contend with. Different scenario if you had a hatchback or SUV where you are in the same compartment as the speaker.

You can get more bang for your buck(pun intended) if you shop used for the more well known brands.(Pioneer, Kicker, Infinity, Alpine, etc) You may have to go a touch over budget to get new, but you can get in the ballpark.
Precision Power PPI i450.1 ~$99
Kicker 40CWS102 ~$90
Atrend 10SKS sealed box ~$40
The Install Bay AK02 ~$40
This will be roughly right at your budget if you factor in shipping. Expect install costs to range anywhere from $100-$200 depending on the shop.
Now, I recommended a zero gauge amp kit......here's why:

The "cheaper" you get when it comes to amp kits, the less actual wire you get. Typically a 4 gauge amp kit will be plenty for your current and future needs should you decide to upgrade. Being that amp kits in the lower price points give you less actual wire, you would want to get a 0 gauge kit so you get a little closer to the actual amount of wire from a "quality" 4 gauge kit.

As for the cheaper amp kits, I would suggest the SCOSCHE amp kits from Walmart. They are true OFC power/ground wires and won't break the bank. 95% of the amp wire kits out there are GARBAGE. Copper-Clad wire is like ethanol gasoline, fully of additives and waste of money.
