Default Subwoofer angle, does it matter?

I am in the process of making a fiberglass subwoofer enclosure. I allready have the bottom part made that does against the side of the trunk. i am in the process of actually trimming the enclosure so i can put the speaker ring on it. (btw, the box is plenty strong enough, but each side will only have 1 10" infinity reference sub)

I just have one problem to figure out:

The molds are made from the space behind my tail lights(iv worked out how i can get to them if i need to tho) and i want to angle the subs to towards the front of the car but if i do that i will have trouble figuring out how to stretch the fleece because with an angle like it is, part of the side of the speaker ring will be hedind the 'plane' that the fleece would be stretched over.

Im wondering is if the 2 subs are pointing kinda towards each other on opposite sides of the trunk, will it still sound the same as if i had a pre-fab box pointing towards the back of the trunk lid? this would be the easiest but idk if it will sound the best.

any help would be greatly appreciated

I also Need to findout where to put my amps also. I might mount them on the back of my seats but idk, i will have to figure out how to run all of the wires to them. Or i might make a fiberglass/mdf setup somehow in the back of the trunk...any suggestions?

Bass is non directional. Its a standard law of audio, however, your high tones will be needed to be directed and planned out more. There is a preference, some separate the tweeter from the woofer (front door panels), and some put them next to eachother. Its more of a preference but see what you like if you have any friends with similar setups. I hope I could help, I try not to be one of the H-T flamejobs. The main diff your going to see is if you face your subs not to eachother, BUT, facing the front of the car, vs. , facing the back. You always want to face them towards the back, there will be more space instead of muffling the sound into the back of your seats. As long as they are not TOO close together, you wil have a fashionable yet functional setup.

so what you are saying is that i can have them pointing towards eachother(have them face the sides of the trunk somewhat) somewhat and still have it sound good?

make sure you dont have them pointed directly at each other or at something else. that will cause interference. not like this ( ) or like this ( l where the lower case l is a wall and the parenthesis is the sub.

alright. what im gonna try to do is kind of like the picture that is below...except the subs will face a little more towards eachother but not much more than waht the subs show in the picture. will this work?
(The 'rear' is the back of the car and the line drawn at the top is the back of the seats)

are you sure? crutchfield says :
"If you are planning on using several woofers, and cannot place them all side-by-side firing backwards in the vehicle, then placing them on the floor firing up, or on the sides of the trunk firing towards each other might be the best option for you."

at the link http://www.crutchfield.com/S-d....html
also on that link they say that firing the subs at the rear deck or somethin else will work also...anyone else done this?

well i found one of my old 10" sub boxes(holds 2), sawed it in half so theres 2 seperate enclosures, and pointed it in my trunk how i showed in the pic and it sound really good so im going to go ahead and point both sides like that.
