Re: speakers for integra (Mr.Integra)
JL Audio 6.5" XR series components up front.
JL Audio 6.5" XR series coaxials in the back.
If that is out of your price range get the VR series. If you have to skimp on one, skimp on the rears and get the nicers fronts. JL make great subs too, but if I were you I would wait until the new W6 comes out in spring, much like the $$$$$$ W7. If your finances are unlimited, get on of those W7s. JL makes nice amps too, can you tell I am a JL fan.

Everybody has their own personal preference, the best thing that you can do right now is go to a car audio store and listen to all different speakers to find your own likings. Some people like ear bursting high frequency sounds or punchy bass. I have Infinity Kappa Perfect 6 1/2 Components in front and Infinity Kappa 6 1/2 3 way coaxials in the back. Infinity has a reputation for creating really great sounding highs. My 2nd favorite company [my brother has these in his CL] is Boston Acoustics Pro Series. Great for bass all around. You also get what you pay for, Boston and Infinity tend to get expensive though.

Since you bought an Eclipse deck, my guess is you have some money to spend. My suggestion is Diamond Audio 6" m5/hex components in teh front with boston acoustics in teh back (as keyed ITR stated).

Re: speakers for integra (TexTeg)
sup guys.. thanks for the response. what about eclipse speakers? i listened to them at a local dealership and they seemed pretty nice! but then again, i never herad any of the speakers mentioned above. O ya, and i like sounds that are really sharp and clear, i'm into some bass, but not too much.

If you like sharp and clear, Memphis Studio Co-Ax's are really nice for the money. Eclispse speakers are very very good as well, but to me, they seem to reproduce the low end better than Memphis while Memphis reproduces the high end better. If you don't want to amp the fronts, go with Memphis in the front. Maybe Eclipses instead of Boston's in the back, but either will sound just fine.

I used to have a Boston Pro Series Component System powered by an MTX 2150X Amp (set up for 125-150 watts x2 channels for the speakers)....it was awesome. I did get a huge hookup price on the components though.
