Default is it safe?

To have a system on with the car off? I've done it before and it hasn't drained my battery yet. I'm guessing it won't cuz my battery isn't that old. But I'm askin just to be safe.

If it wasn't "safe", then manufacturers wouldn't design vehicles to have accessory power when the car isn't running...

I don't have a factory system though. I have infiniti interior speakers, with 2 10inch subs and an alpine amp. And I heard about people draining their batteries. Just tryin to be safe

It's not going to hurt the car. If you run it too long on just the battery, your car won't start, and if run down that far too often, a battery can be damged, but that's about the worst that can happen...
