hey i have the dual 2 ohm L7 (the all black face one, last season). i have it in a pos sealed box that leaks like a bitch. Hell on the back there was a 3 x 5 " hole that i just screw a piece of wood over (didnt have time to build a box yet. NE way when it it hit souns like a wire is hitting the back sie but the wires all all hort. Imean it sounds like ****. Coul it be the box? im running about 500 watts to it an its 300 rms 600 max. (its a 500 watt amp but its not turned all the way up. It still hits har but sounds like ****. NE sugestions to stop the noise woul be nice. TY

if you read the owner's manual it states that warrenty is void if not installed in a proper box built by an authorised dealer. the box is what makes the sub perform up to its potential, it also can make a good sub sound like **** or a crap sub sound surprisingly good. with a proper enclosure and proper amounts of power that L7 should last you forever unless you carelessly play it and beat the **** out of it.

Could it be the box? Yes, you said yourself that the box is horrible.
