is there any point of putting a alarm on a car that doesnt have power locks? i heard it is as easy to get into without the alarm.

buying an alarm for a car is a very wise investment...it will help prevent break ins and help prevent from getting your car stolen.

An alarm is a good deterent for ALL CARS. You think that just cause a car doesnt have power locks that its easier to break into? Not true, it is easier to break in to a power locks car than a manual. A manual you will have to Jimmy the lock or get a hanger in the window and physically unlock the door. Unlike a car with power locks, stick a hanger through the window and just hit the power lock button up/down (depending on car) and you got all the doors open. Alot easier in a car w/power locks, example Civic/Tegs wit power locks.

well if you are not a complete moron and would like to keep your car
(while you have power door locks)
you un screw the one screw pull the power door lock switch out and unplug it
that and do the whole four door handles to shave the key wholes

Ditto on what was said. It may actually be a strength to not have PL. PL for an alarm is for convience. The only benefit is that it locks all the doors with one push of the button. So you won't have to worry about your passenger forgetting to lock the door.

oh no i want power locks for convience. i have manual, but if it is true that manual locks are harder to get into then i would just leave it the way it is and save that money for the power locks for a alarm with a pager.
