ok, i baught an 05 type S and the stereo worked but the CD did not so i baught a whole new stereo BUT as i was taking out the old one i didnt realize the key was in the ignition and the power was on and i stuck something metal into the bottom of the stereo mount to pry it out and a little flame came out hahaha. After the flame the stereo didnt work at all...so i put the new one in and that one doesnt turn on at all either. I then went to check the stereo fuse under the steering wheel and the cover was missing and i dint know which one was for the stereo so i checked them all and they were all fine. anyone have any idea on what this could be because all my other electronics work fine.....stereo power cable??? please help, im pissed...

 

Pissed at who? Yourself because you didn't check the radio fuse in the block under the hood?

 

ya i am pissed at myself for leaving the electrical on like an idiot but i did check all the fuses 3 times

 

did you check the fuses in the engine bay fuse box? 94

How about you answer the question there, chief??

And when you say that you "checked" them 3 times... Did you verify continuity with a meter or did they just "look" good?
