Repairing internal connection on alarm circut board
Any one know how I would fix this myself? Warrenty is expired
It's just that brown part that causes no power to be sent to the alarm proximity sensor, with out that it is useless. could I try intricate soldering, or putting a single copper strand down. There is just a small distance that isn't connected.

Re: Repairing internal connection on alarm circut board (Torridcivic)
A blown trace on a circut board is easy to fix if you can solder. Just clean the epoxy off the trace behind the bad spots and solder a little wire jumper across. The bad news is: if you blew a trace, chances are that a more delicate part down the line also died. Its cheap to fix the trace, so try it and see what happens.
