Actually you need to use the ignition wire for a remote turn-on, not a constant 12v source. The Pink and Orange wires are the constants. The ignition wire is Dark Green.

You still have not specified the year of your Yukon! We need that to give you correct wire color info...

tap that wire into the fuse box on a fuse controlled by the ignition Iwouldn't tap any thing behind the radio cause if your under warranty the dealership will def. know and will give you a hard time on electrical repairs!!!

Ok here is the info you wanted for your Yukon:
Radio 12v
orange
+
radio harness

Radio Ground black/white - radio harness
Radio Ignition Class 2 Serial Data = This means that the actual ignition for your radio is powered by a very low resistance and not the typical 12volts. You will either have to purchase an adapter for this or run a fused wire to an ignition source at the steering column.
Radio Illumination N/A
Factory Amp Turn-on pink + radio harness
Power Antenna dk. green + radio harness
LF Speaker +/- tan - gray +,- radio harness
RF Speaker +/- lt. green - green +,- radio harness
LR Speaker +/- brown - yellow +,- radio harness
RR Speaker +/- blue - lt. blue +,- radio harness
