sound deadening problem
Before today, only my trunk lid was deadened (with dynamat extreme). It sounded fine, I even felt a bit more bass in the car, but the rattles were still there. I've had Damplifier around for a week now and I decided to get started. Well it took me about an hour just to do the inside (trunk side) of the rear deck. Afterwards, I turned my subwoofers on to check the progress of my deadening, and the effect seemed to reverse. I felt less bass in the car than I did prior to deadening the rear deck. There seemed to be more bass outside my car than inside.. which is NOT what I wanted at all, and the rattles either stayed the same or got worse. I don't know what happened and if doing the sides and floor will help. But there are holes on the rear deck that I just covered instead of leaving them. Anyone know the problem or have any input?

Yea. You covered up the holes in the deck. I noticed the opposite when I removed my 6x9s. The bass was much louder with the 6x9 holes in the deck than with speakers blocking them.
