2001 civic(with power locks, just no remote) I was wondering who has done this. I am getting ready to install it on my brothers car and not to sure which wires to be tapping into to do the keyless entry and the ignition wires. Does anyone have DIY done on this?

You need to look harder, there is a sticky at the top of this form.

What is the make and model of the remote start?
Is the Civic a standard or automatic transmission?

The leads in the linked tag in sheet can also be found at other locations in the dash and engine bay, the locations in the tag in sheet are common and do not make a good stealth install, but then again, it's just a remote start, right?

Do you have a bypass module for the 2001 Civic, something like this... http://ifar.ca/en/vehicles/honda/civic/2001/ if not you will need to get one. 94

 

its a auto and i dont have a bypass. Ill make sure he gets one with an extra key. What a pain in the butt this may be. Thanks
