So, my mom's boyfriend wants to know if I can help him install a remote starter in his Mazda 6 tomorrow morning. I just realized I have absolutely no idea how this install is going to work lol. I tried searching for install threads, but had no luck. Anybody have anything they want to fill me in on? I really hope this guy actually knows what he's doing, but just in case, I don't want it to eat up my entire Saturday afternoon

What is the make and model of the remote start? 94

 

it's probably an 06-08 I think, the V6 auto model. We didn't end up doing it, because, this morning he realized he needs some kind of security override

 

He will need a "bypass module"...
