Remote Start Problem
My remote start won't start here is what my manual says how to wire it. Red = Main power. I have this connected to White the 12v constant under the dash.
Pink = Ignition output. I have this connected to the black wire with yellow stripe. Pink = Ignition 2. I have this connected to nothing. Orange = Accessory output. I have this connected to the Yellow wire near the steering wheel column. Purple = Starter. I have this connected to the black wire with a white stripe. Blue/White = bypass output. I don't have this connected to anything. Grey/Black = Diesel wait to start bulb. I don't have this connected.
Black//White= Neural Safety Switch Input. I have this connected to the Green with a white stripe wire by the gear shifter. Purple/White = Tach Wire Input. to the blue wire near the firewall on the driver side. Can you help thanks

A member allready brought one to me saying it was a dei alarm. The person who sold it to him told him it was one. I will look to see if I can find the directions to it. It never worked right out the box.
on some alarms there is a wire used for in car button start (like the s2000)make sure u dont have that wire hooked up, that ebay alarm is almost the same as the one i use to have and now i have a viper but the wire colors are almost all the same. if you are still having issues post back and i can look at my wiring and tell you where everything goes
Yes you must cut the starter wire, [black/white] connect one of the cut ends, [ign. switch end] to #30 of the relay the other cut end, [starter motor end] goes to #87a, you can connect a "true" ign., [hot in run and start] or starter wire, [ign. switch end] to #85 and the alarms orange wire, [from 6P harness] to #86... http://www.the12volt.com/relays/page2.asp

When connecting the remote starts starter output, [purple] make sure it is on starter motor side of the starter cut relay.
For tach, [purple/white] connect that to one of the injectors, [lead that is a diff. color on each injector.
Make sure the parking brake, [black/white] is grounded, this lead can be permanently grounded as your car will not crank if not in park or neutral, you can also connect the lead to an on/off toggle switch to supply it with a ground, [when switch is on] and use the switch as a "service" switch.94

Make sure that you have the wire that goes to the starter is plugged in the right way> also the alarm should have a hood pin check that if the car is stick you need a bypass > make sure the brake wire is hooked up> other than that check ur wiring again......
