There are 2 fuses that need to be checked, one is the radio acc. fuse, it is located in the under dash fuse box, the other is the radios constant power, it is located in the engine bay fuse box, [on most Honda/Acura] it is probably a 7.5A and labeled as "backup".
Many aftermarket HUs use the constant power for the HUs main power and the acc. power is only a trigger, like an amp.
In most cases the HUs main power fuse is bigger then 7.5A, so the stock constant power lead in the OEM radio harness can not supply the HU with the current it needs, [wire gauge is too thin] DO NOT replace the 7.5A fuse with a bigger one, it will not help, as it is the wire gauge that is the problem, and installing a bigger fuse can literally burn your car to the ground.
Instead run a 12ga fused power lead from the batt. to behind the HU and connect the HUs constant power, [normally yellow] to it, don't forget to cap off the OEM constant power lead, and replace the 7.5A fuse.
