im hooking up a 1000w amp and was wondering if it was correct to wire the amps remote+ to the radios remote+ which is constant +12v?
it wouldnt fry up the constant +12v would it?

Have you ever heard of testing the wires with a meter?
BTW, I'm sure the wires are different colors... As of about 15 years ago, audio wiring colors were standardized...

What do you mean by a meter? Those signal meter testers?

Yeah I have an not conneted wire that color. The original wires from the batery, speakers and all the other stuff were cut and theres a orange one that is not conneted either. Forgot what they were, a while ago I had some papers on them but lost that now.

lol didn't mean to hijack his thread but I have the same problem too but my deck is different. I will make a new thread since I got my own problems that are different.
My deck is the Kenwood KDC-722.
