Okay first off I've tried searching...no help. I'm installing a Pioneer DEH-P840MP in my 1997 Mitusbishi Eclipse RS. The problem is that its like the cd player isn't straight so when I tried to install the surround on the cd player it won't fit because of the climate control surround. I've even had my buddy that installs cd players for a living help me and we still can't figure it out. Everything is straight and lined up perfect with all the screws in the correct place. If anybody has ever installed a similar cd player in a 97 eclipse any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

 

Nevermind...figured it out myself...had to trim the piece around the climate control!! Now i feel really dumb
