I think its my cd player, but not complete sure. WHen i hit a bump, or if it even vibrates alittle, it will make my subs hit, or pop. Its pretty damn annoying. I dont think it could be the wire going from the cd player to the amp it has a good connection. Anyone know what color comes out of the cd player that you hook up to the amp? pretty sure its right, but thought id ask. If you have an idea to what it might be, it be greatly appreciated

 

It can be any number of things, a problem in the HU or the amp or the wiring, I would start checking by giving the amp a few good smacks, if that does not get any "pops" do the same with the HU, if you still get nothing I would check the RCA cable running from the HU to the amp, [easy way would be just to run another set temporarily, over the carpet and seats], if you still have popping, do the same with the amp control lead, [trigger lead] from the HU to amp, also carefully check all the power and ground connections for the amp. 94

the wire that comes out of ur radio to ur amp is blue and should have a white stripe on it!

 

thanks i was just checking. Yeah, prettty sure i just need to get a new deck. Thinking of getting a new deck. Possibly dvd deck. i don tknow.
