Default Problem with subs

Ok, i got two JL audio 12w0's in a sealed box powered by a 600 watt planet audio amp, running off a kenwood cd deck. My problem is that the bass from the subs would sometimes cut out to a lot less bass, so only a little would be pounding. It would usually cut out when taking sharp turns or braking hard, and then it would come back again after doing the same. I checked all the wiring one day and made sure it was tight. It didnt do that ever again after i checked and made sure everytihng was secure. But now today while i was driving the bass jsut cut out again and played at the same level it use to play at when i had this problem before. AS soon as i got home i checked all the wiring again and made surei t was tight. It didnt help, i checked again and again making sure everytihng was connected properly and it still didnt make a difference. i turned the music off and drove for about 30 minutes to see if it would work and nothing, still the same ****. Does anyone have any idea of what it might possibly be? I'm gonne check it tomrow morning to see how its like and see if i can find the problem, but if anyone in here has a clue to what it could be please help, thanks.

Put your hand on the amp's heat sink if super hot, U are overdriving the amp. If so, the amp must shut down or it will self destruct..
Solution, turn it down or upgrade to higher power, better quality amp..

Yeah sounds like it may be loose, which also will eventually blow the amp.

Could be it might be your voice coils one could be loose if that is the case you might have to get a new sub, the same thing happened to me, and I had to get a new sub, but I really don't care if it blows or anything because if it does, I get a new one for the next four years.

Thanks for all your responses guys. It ended up being one of the subs itself. I got a better look at it this morning. I saw the one of the subs was pounding properly and the other one was barly moving. I tooke it out of the box and saw that one of the wires that runs from the connector part of the sub was cut. I went to the store where i bought the subs from and the guy there had a look at it and told me that its under warrenty aslong as the voice coil isnt messed up. So i might go tomorow if i have time to the JL audio dealer to get it checked out and hopefully replaced.
