Is the power light blinking or is the protection mode light blinking? Try replacing the fuse on the power wire for the amp. If the amp is still doing the same thing after you replace the fuse then disconnect the speaker wires and see if the light is still blinks.

the only problems that i see a lot with kenwood is that if you have the wires tucked under the amp and you screw it down real tight for some reason it pushes on the back panel and and causes the amp to cut out. if not that check the fuses in the amp (it probably isn't that since the lights are blinking) and try disconnecting everything and then connect just the power wires back and see if it still does it, hope this helps.

Just Disconect the subs, Because the subs could be bad causing the amp to go into protect, disconnect the rcas, because the fault can be comming from the out puts on the head unit or rca wires

so if u have the speakers unplugged, and rcas, and its still in protect, check the ground and wires
