Default Ported Box

Hey guys i need help. Does anyone know the factory dimensions to build a ported box for 2 JL W3 10's? And also what size ports and how many ports? i tried the website but that didn't work. can you guys find me any links? any help would be greatly appreciated.

oh yea and this is my first time building a box, so any tips or pointers would be greatly appreciated also.

Go to http://www.blaupunktusa.com/speakers...x_program.html and download blaubox. Input the T&S parameters that cam with your sub. Choose vented box and it will spit out recommended size. IF you want you can tweak w/ it to get the wave you want and mess with port size. But for ease of use, just go with recommended.

I wish I could help you here but I am kind of short on time. A program isn't going to do it for you but will give you a pretty good head start. Your going to have to fine tune it to your liking though if you want full performance. check the .pdf file that that one guy posted (You have to have Adobe Acrobat Reader to read the file) and see if it does not help you. As for ports just depends on what frequency you decide to tune it to.

thanks for all the links guys. my computer won't let me download anything right now so ima have to check those sites out later. im probably going to start the box this week so wish me luck. thanks again guys.

for a ported enclosure it recommends
1.00 cubic feet in volume for D2
1.125 cubic feet in volume for D4
1.25 cubic feet in volume for D6
