Default poly fill in a sealed box?

I bought two bags of polyfill and was wondering if I should use it or not? Can someone explain to me why they put that stuff in sealed boxes? If I do put it in there, will it get sucked in the speakers? Thanks

Is the box the proper size to begin with?

If box is too small, you can use 3/4 lb per cubic foot to make box "think" it 10-15% larger.

The box should be close to the proper size. Maybe 5% smaller than it should be. I tried that link and it didn't work. Thanks for the reply
