Optima problems
Ok , I got a optima yellow top and it doesn't even hold a charge for a day. wtf?
No i have taken it out of the car and charged it over the weekend and it worked fine for 2 days then died. My old Honda battery didn't have this problem. I am pretty dam sure that i don't have any current draw with the key off. Do you guys think that maby my alternator went out with the new "load" of a new battery? thanks for your help

The yellow top is designed to be charged, then completely discharged. Running it as a main will kill it since unless you forget and leave your lights on, it will never get completely discharged and It will be getting charged when your driving around (over charge).I dont think 2 days would be enough to kill it though. Check to see if the car is charging. With the car running and the headlights on, a volt meter on the battery should read around 14volts.
