One question and one answer.. (Stereo)
So I'd like to start off by saying anybody that owns a 1998 - 2002 accord and doesn't have power to their stereo should immediately check fuse 9 on the passenger side fuse box/panel. Mine was blown, new 20A and my stereo (and lighter) worked again.
Now onto the next problem I still have.. My uncle took my car out to visit a friend, the battery died and he had to jump start it to get it home.. when he did this I'm not too sure what happened, but now the stereo isn't emitting sound at all. It's an aftermarket stereo with stock speakers and no amp.. Checked the wiring to the harness adapter and it looks good. Redid it just in case, still no sound. I know when he had it jumped he connected the cables directly to the battery My question is did this cause a short in the speaker wires? Back and front are no longer working. I also got a code that said my ELD was bad.. could that cause the no sound issue..?? Any help is appreciated and if I figure it out I'll be sure to update. Thanks In advance!!

jumping a battery won't short any wires. Did you check the fuse behind the headunit? If that checks fine, you have a blown fuse elsewhere in the car.

Thanks for the response. I haven't had the time to check ALL of the fuses yet but i should have some time tonight. I'll be back with the results ASAP!! Thanks again!
