Hey guys, I wanted to get everyones opinion I want to do a custom box in my integra I was thinking about going with either rockford fosgate or JL audio, I had both brands in the past and didn't have any problems with it. I will be using a pioneer avic d3 double din unit. I want a clean sound with nice bass.. not going after db's though. I used to have all eclipse in my old teg but it all got stolen.
But anyways Thanks for any help, much appreciated.

Are you talking subs? Amps? Speakers? All three?
JL > Rockford. Period.
Rockford's old stuff used to be good, but now their stuff is just crap. Little to no sound quality, and everything sounds pretty damn boomy.

yup
best subs I have ever used.
More reliable and sound better than JL
hit just as hard as fosgate.
Definitely worth the money.
I am one of the very few that is not impressed with JL anymore.
overpriced and over rated.
Only sub of theirs I would run is the W-3 line

It sounds like you're really stuck on those two brands and I understand that you trust good products you've had in the past. You can always explore other brands. Just get a warranty on whatever you buy so if you have any trouble you can return it. And as far as sound quality goes with the amp and subs just match the rms and you're garunteed a nice boom.
