i came across an ad for sony xplode subs and amp.
the package was 2 10" and an amp(forget power) and a box for $300 canadian..
brand new and everything.
are these good? ive heard different things about them..

Sony is in the middle. They are not great nor they are bad. I've had a 4-channel amp made by Sony for four years and no problems at all. Remember, with audio equipment, you get what you pay for.

 

yeah..i think its originally around 600 bucks..and i just want an opinion, it seems like a great deal

One thing everyone must know, Sony made better products about 3-4 years ago than they do now.

 

I would put sony more towards the bottom of the pack. unless you're talking about their older stuff in the ES line.

 

I already told ya my opinion today , sony arent as great at they used to be. They live up to their name (X-plod).
I mean they'll be a decent sub for a beginning system, but you can probably find a better deal somewhere else.
