new pioneer headunit problem!

Default new pioneer headunit problem!

ok guys i put my head unit in the 96 cvic ex, Now everything worked fine except, at first wehn id turn the radio off then back on it kept reseting and id loose all my bass setting etc... second i changed a some wiring now the headunit just wont shut off even after i take the key out, it seems to just continue running off the battery. Now can you guys help w/ this to it turns off and not reset all my setting when it does turn off

Sounds like you have a probelm with your memory wire,don't know how to fix it,sorry.I think its the yellow wire.

You need to connect the yellow wire off the head unit to the wire that receives constant 12volts. You need to connect the red wire off the head unit to the wire that receives 12volts only when the key is in the acc or run position. Are you using a wiring harness? Or did you just cut the plug off and splice everything together? Need to provide more information than what you have...

Okay lets see if i can remember...

Your yellow wire coming from the radio should be connected to the white with blue stripe wire on the car harness, and the red wire from your radio should be connected to the yellow with red stripe wire.
