Default new cd player not working

i have a 2000 acura integra ls, i hooked up my cd player using a wireing harness, at first it worked but i got the ignition and power wires switched so i pulled it out switched them, but then it wouldn't work at all. i switched them back and it wouldn't work like it did before either. at this time i noticed taht my dash clock was not working. anybody have any idea what is casing this? is the dash clock and the cd player connected somehow? i checked the fuse in the car and it was still good.

Did it "look" okay, or did you test it with a light or a meter?

dont test with a light always use a meter. but yea the dash and hood fuses check if they are burnt then thats the problem. if not check to see if the radio has a fuse on it. if not maye u blew the internal amp. but with something liek this its always the fuse. remeber to pull your fuses out and check them dont just look good luck dude

And why not? If you're testing a circuit that is known not to interface with the ECU or Airbag system, there really isn't much danger.
