Default Need help with remote start

iv'e installed a hornet564t alarm into my 93 prelude si. everything works except when i try to remote start it just bumps the starter over and my remote beeps and shows a warning sign that says inhibit. the manual says that its a safety shut down but ive checked all of my inputs and they all work. i have the neutral wire grounded, also i still need to bypass my clutch switch. if i dont press the clutch in itll try to start over and over again then give up(never engages starter) but it doesnt say inhibit. i have engine checking on, tach sensing on, i programmed the tach signal.......im lost.
i also have a 507m tilt sensor installed and dei's back up battery......someone help me out, thanks

Have you tried the shut down diagnostic?

Shutdown diagnostics...
1. With the ignition OFF, press and HOLD the Valet/Program button.
2. Turn the ignition ON and then back OFF while HOLDING the Valet/Program button.
3. Release the Valet/Program button.
4. Press and release the Valet/Program button. The LED will report the last shutdown for one minute or until the ignition is turned on.
LED FLASHES SHUTDOWN MODE
One- Timed out
Two- Over-rev shutdown
Three- Low or no RPM
Four- Transmitter shutdown (or optional push-button)
Six- (-) Shutdown (H3/3 GRAY) or (+) Shutdown (H3/4 BROWN)
Seven- (-) Neutral safety shutdown (H3/6 BLACK/WHITE)
Eight- Wait-to-start timed out

What does the LED tell you, how many times does it blink? 94

i got code 6 either the brake switch or the hood pin, im going to check those again. brake should be nothing during start up(batt voltage if depressed) and the hood pin shouldn't be grounded unless open?

well i used diodes to isolate the back-up battery and the hood pin on the same input. as soon as i cut the wire to the back-up battery it started right up. the only thing that was weird is that the car had started a couple times but then would say inhibit. so where should i tie in the back-up battery? thanks for your help

Even with the diode it will give just a slight amount of ground. The hood input is a 22 gauge wire, very very long, so you know the alarm isn't looking for very much ground on that wire.

Use the blue - instant trigger wire (normally used as a trunk trigger).
