well my eg harness has been cut and and everytime i connect the yellow wire to the white/blue wire it wont work but when i connect the red and yellow wire to the power of the car harness it works fine but theres no memory. is there any alternative wire i can connect too?

 

Check the 7.5A fuse in the fuse box under the hood on the passenger side firewall.

Let me guess... It just looked good, right?

 

Check the fuse with a multimeter. You can verify perfect continuity across the two terminals or you can leave the fuse in and check for voltage from each terminal to ground.
