Default need help on a amp

i have a kenwood cd player, 2 10inch mtx subs, and a 300w kenwood amp. it sounds ok but it is not loud enough. should i get a bigger amp to push it. any info would help.

whats the rms for that kenwood amp, from what i've seen they like to show off their max numbers. and with kenwood it usually seems to be far from the actually amount you can expect.

If U want more bump for the thump, U need a sub amp that puts out high current, high power into 2 Ohms. Best bang for the $ is the JBL 600 or 1200, check around these are available under $199 on closeout...

Kenwood amps are OK for cruzin background music..
but they don't deliver the higher ***** krunchin required to rock out...

I personally wouldn't want either Kenwood or JBL. Directed 1100D for me. Anyway Kenwoods amps are usually half the power stated, in this case probably 150.

The JBL power amps are kick *** man. For the money you put in them, you get ALOT out of them. If you can find a better pounding/sounding 300/600/1200 watt mono block amp out there for under $300, more power to ya. But I doubt there is one. JBL =
