Default amp connect help

hi guys i have this cd player and im trying to connected with amp but it dosent come out sound.....it's sound only like a woofer i connect speakers but only bass come out ...the cd player is a sony cdx gt40u

i dont want sub i want just sound only speakers ..i have try but only sound like sub only bass ....is possible with this stereo or i need a 4 preout stereo?

those preouts are only for subs

try adjusting the crossover on the amp if it's initialized. its sounds like it cutting out the frequencies you want to hear.

2 channel amp is generally only good for 2 speakers. when used without subs, it would either be the front door speakers or the rear deck speakers. if you want all four hooked up, you need a 4 channel amp or another 2 channel and front and rear pre-amp outputs from your stereo

i want to hook up the rear speaker with the amp and front to leave with the stereo ... with this stereo is possible??

Yeah, no problems as long as the speakers you intend to amplify can take the wattage.

If you still have problems with your amplified speakers only having bass. ensure your deck is set to send out a "rear" signal and not a "sub" signal - and set your crossovers on the deck and amp(if applicable) to match the Hertz (Hz) range of your speakers. (check owners manuals)

yes i found it i had to turn off the stereo then select what i wanted sub or speaker in the preouts ..thnx for the replay
