multiple sirens on viper 300esp
i want two sirens instlaled on my viper 300esp, i have the first one already under the hood but i wanted another inside the car. i have this extra siren,i dont know what company or what alarm it came off of but i wanted to add that one. can i just tap it into the siren output. i already searched and saw ppl saying sometimes u need relays and sometimes certain sirens might blow the alarm output if they draw too much, so specifically for this alarm would that work? also how do i tell what sire i got and if it will draw too much power?

i wouldnt run more than 2 off the output without a relay. if you know the current draw of the sirens, and the current capability of the brain you can figure out if you can safely run them without a relay. personally i would run a relay any way so they can draw plenty of current with no voltage drop for maximum volume. i also would fuse each one individually from the relay so if someone is trying to cut the wires or short them out it will blow that individual fuse and the rest will keep going. i have 2 514n, and 2 513t piezo sirens on both my civics, pretty loud. good luck.

Re: (menappi)
you can run it off the main siren wire. Dei will run two sirens no problem. If you do the relay it won't sound if the battery is disconnected. Providing that you have a back up battery that every alarm should have.
