Default motion sensor

Hello, i just got my alarmed in stalled in my del sol and i also bought a motion sensor which is "Directed DEI Dual Zone Motion Sensor 508d" i wanted to know how would i be able to adjust it so that if someone walks by my exterior of the car it would just chirp and not go off? Because for some reason if i were to just walk by it once it would chirp and than the alarm would shoot off! I know i can adjust it on the motion sensor but i dont know which one to adjust..?

You expect an answer within 15 minutes? Hold the hell on, this isn't a fast moving forum.

The 508d is junk... Pick yourself up an AU94T!
You can find them at an incredible price here.

There should be 2 adjustment screw's on the the 508, one for warn and one for full trigger. How do you have the sensor hooked up to your alarm and did you set the sensitivity for both zones (warning and full on)?

Which one is warn and which one is full trigger? I know there is 2 adjustment screws.. but which screw to adjust to make it only chirp if someone comes near the car.. I want it to only go off if someone goes in my car or touches it.. But overall i just want it to chirp to warn them.. Because if i walk past my car randomly, it will chirp and than the siren goes off quick.. Thanks!!
