Default monster cap

What do you guys think of this? My car recently underwent ... well .... electrical problems. Anyway I was just look for general opinions on this vs. the other caps on the market.

What other cap are you thinking of? They all serve the same purpose for the most part. As long as its of decent quality(for car audio) then they are all about the same unless you are going for competition or some really high-end install. Why do you think you need a Cap?

That is a real nice cap. I work for Circuit City and I install them all the time. They work real efficiently and the digital output lets you know if the cap is functioning properly or not. But if you dont to spend that much for a digital one, there are plenty of other ones out there to choose from

I always wondered about the digi ones.

Isn't the point of a cap to conserve power? I mean the idea is your battery can't supply power fast enough on a harsh transient burst, and yet the the digi display is robbing that same supply of current...

I know, how little energy it actually takes to run the circuit board, I've just always thought it was a little ironic.
