Thought I saw this posted before but I couldn't find it anywhere. Anyways, everything was fine until I installed a used cd player using a harness on my wifes 92 civic. Once the receiver was installed the parking/vallet light is on without the switch being on. So I installed the stock tape player back on and the lights are fine but the vechicle will not hold the memory (time/radio station). Thanks in advance.

in this case reverse the red and yellow wires connections.. yellow is constant 12v wich holds memory and red is ignition 12v

 

Would this fix the time on the vechicle also?

 

should. unless u blew out the fuses..

If that doesn't work check your backup fuse under the hood, i think its a 7.5amp.
