LOL....

Save your money and buy a reputable brand like Compustar or DEI (Viper/Phyton/Clifford)... You'll end up replacing that 50-100 unit after a season, then you'll spend that money anyways... Do it right the first time...

And since you say it's not going into a Honda, what is it going in??

I bought one on ebay for about $60 shipped. It was some discontinued Air Wolf 2-way model...and I wanted to try something cheap. It didn't come with a siren or shock sensor, so I bought myself a siren...don't care much about the shock sensor...less headaches. It still works after about a year. Range is ok too. What I don't like about it, is you can't shut up the pager. No vibration mode too. Often the pager plays a "song" when you press the brakes (don't think it was designed this way). The pager isn't very user-friendly...but is ok I guess. You also can't shut up the siren chirping without losing siren on alarm trigger. It also chirps when starts or when you check status of your car...which is gay. Anyways, that's just my experience with a cheap alarm/remotestart. Next time I'm going back to Compustar.
