Location of Siren
Mines in my engine bay. Isn't this a bad place? I mean, they break the window, pop the hood, rip out the siren then take their own sweet time. Where do you have yours?

have one 1 in both fenders, 1 inside the car behind the dash, 1 in the trunk and a backup battery siren hidden.. layering is the key.. also get a backup battery cause they can just disconnect your battery and take there sweet *** time also..
Behind the fender is good so long it has a relatively clear shot to the ground. Low on the firewall is also good. If you can easily get to the siren it's poorly installed.
Well, low on the firewall isn't so hot of an idea actually. I have heard of thieves that climb under your car and grab the alarm wire with a coat hanger and pull real hard so they can break the wires.
I would suggest high on the firewall with a few screws and drill a hole in the firewall directly behind the siren to push the wire through. Then a thief will have to rip the entire siren off the firewall to get it shut up.
