Aside from laying out my JDM harness (not yet installed) and just tracing the installation guide I have looking for these plugs. Does anyone know if it's still plug and play to use an OEM US Security System with a JDM Main Harness? In the US the harnesses have all provisions for optional accessories. Does the JDM harness have them too? It's going to be a little bit before I can get down to the shop and check for myself but I found a complete kit for the OEM security for my car. Price is fantastic, just wondering if it's doable. Also, I know the door harnesses differ because of the power folding mirrors so I'm wondering if I'll still be able to make it work properly and function normally.

What year is the car and JDM harness? 94

 

The vehicle is a 99. The conversion I got is a DB8 clip from, I believe, a 98. It has SRS and ABS with it.

No.....if you use the jdm harness that has the jdm security system....it will not work with the usdm. The usdm integra has a plug and play modual. Save your self he trouble and go aftermarket and so it right.

 

It will be a wiring mess if you want to implement something you're not familiar with, I also say go aftermarket because the options are better than what it was back in 99.

 

That's what I was wondering without having looked through the harness yet. If the JDM harness had the same plug and play setup.

I have access to the ETMs and am pretty proficient with wiring, I was just curious if anyone knew if the JDM harness was laid out like the USDM where it has the plug and play option. As far as the better options, I agree. But this was more for just a "factory option" that I thought was pretty awesome. Where I live, work, and where the car is/will be is not a concern of actual theft or vandalism.
