Default Left Speakers!

So I just installed my Pioneer CD-BTB200 head unit and I also have Pioneer TS-A1672R speakers installed in my '04 Civic LX. After installation, I played around with the balance, and noticed my left speakers aren't really working now. It sounds really muffled and far away. They were working fine before today's installation of the new head unit. What could be wrong?

Improper wiring, bad HU, try switching the left and right speaker wiring at the back if the new HU. 94

How do I know which is left and right? I made sure all the colors match up if that's what you're asking. Any other possibilities?

more than likely an EQ issue. are you amping the speakers or just running off headunit power?

Ok i've isolated the problem. It is this iPod BUS cord I have that allows me to play music from my ipod as well as control it. When I turn on the radio, speakers work fine, when I switch to the ipod, left speakers muffle up. I suppose buying a new cord will fix the issue.

It will fix the issue if the problem is the cord, but not if the problem is the iPod input, in the HU. 94

Ah good point... guess we'll find out soon but I really hope I wont have to redo the HU after all that effort. Not sure it can still be refunded at this point either. =\
