Hi, my new daily driver had a serious setup in before I got it.. Now it has just aftermarket highs and an amp.. Well I tried removing the head unit to put mine in a noticed how weird the wiring is.. So I hooked up all the 4 RCA jack things, the blue remote wire for the amp or something? and the yellow, red, and ground. Now my front speakers don't come on? I tried putting the old head unit it and got the same problem.. When I put fade up to front speakers, it acts like there are none and the sound continues just as loud in the rear. Pleeeeease tell me how to fix!!! TIA!

 

did you check to see if the speakers were actually plugged in? dumb question, i know, but hey, it happens.

 

is it possible the fronts were actually running off the head unit and not the amp... if that's the case you'd have to hook them back up to either the amp or your head unit... It'd be easier if you took some pics so maybe we knew what you were dealing with.

 

Figured it out.. I guess the guy decided to use the wiring for the rears as wiring for the fronts.. So I just crossed them at the harness.
