are kicker L7's good for SPL?
if world record spl numbers mean anything.....yes. they are an awsome sub for alot of bass, and they sound good while providing that bass. if in a proper enclouser, you can give them as much power as you can afford.
they are loud as **** and sound good as hell in a 1 cu ft. box, but if you want spl make a box to the kicker specs, the have plans on their site, and its soo loud but doesnt sound that great. i have a couple in my crx and man, they hurt! haha
heh you want some SPL go with the Stroker. Developed in the 70's and still kicking ***.. now that's a hell of a sub. Not to mention nearly every other speaker company out there (INCLUDING JL) is using some technology Cerwin-Vega originally developed
