Keyless entry problem...
THE KEYLESS ENTRY WORKED WITH THE AFTERMARKET HEADUNIT FOR MONTHS. It only stopped working after turbo install.
I have checked for loose wires and there appears that there arent any. One pink.black with in int on a sleeve is the only one not hooked up. There appears to be no male conector that goes into this one. Im using an alpine headunit.
The shop manuel says I have to hit the vallet switch in order to reset my transmitters. Problem is the shop that put my radio in took the face plate off the radio so I cant hit any of the buttons. I read on the internet how you just put it on ign. II and go through a cycle to add the transmitters.
Can anyone help me figure out how to get the keyless entry back on my car? Any help would be appreciated.

factory keyless entry. Aftermarket alpine headunit. But worked with this headunit for 2+years. Stopped working after I installed turbo.

Yup they all seem to be plugged in. and heaunit is there, but there is no face plate on the oem unit. I can take pics tomorrow if that will help.
When I installed the turbo i undid the battery. Could that have made the car loose the signal from the remote to the car? Like do i have to reset it? I looked in my manuel and it says I have to hit the valet key on the OEM unit to reset it. Problem being there is no faceplate to hit the valet switch. That is the only guess that I have.

Yes the remote programing can be lost if power is disconnected, and without the oem radio face that will not be possible, BTW where is the face, it is not "normally" removable.

PS you have a couple of options, get an aftermarket alarm or key-less entry unit, install it, then can remove the oem HU from behind the dash, get one of these...

Well Ill have to take a pic of what is behind the dash. I only assume that it was the OEM unit. I didnt think the OEM one was able to have the face plate off of it either. I might just go back to the place that installed the radio and tell them to fix it. Since if I had the face plate I could do it myself and they took it off for whatever reason.
Ill take a pic of the box thing that I beleive is the radio and maybe you can verify.
